Creating an order can be done in 3 steps.

1. Set pick-up and delivery location

You start by looking up addresses (saved in the dashboard from orders or registered pick-up locations). If you can't find the address you are looking for, you can click on the link …"register new address" and fill out the form with the pick-up and delivery address.

If your search has returned matches you will be presented with the list of addresses. You can click on "USE THIS ADDRESS FOR PICK-UP" or "USE THIS ADDRESS FOR DELIVERY" link as it will pre-fill the form.

Duplicating an existing order

To duplicate an actual order, you can search for it using the order's reference number or any other property that can easily identify it. Once you see the results you can click on "DUPLICATE THIS ORDER" link.

You can also choose a pick-up address from the list of registered addresses, this provides a one-click solution to quickly shorten the process.

💡TIP: Make sure you fill out all the required fields, for instance: e-mail, phone, etc. You can see which fields are missing on the right column, in red.

2. Order specifications

Once you have selected pick-up and delivery addresses, the 2nd. step is where you add important information regarding the new order.

Primary information

You find the input fields: weight, pick-up reference and external id. Weight is mandatory; pick-up reference is usually a short reference number for easy finding the order; external id is a reference to the id from an external systems.

Advanced information

On advanced information you find type of goods and QR code label. Type of goods is a required field and means which type of goods is going to be delivered. It's important to know which type of goods it's being transported in order for Zoopit to select the right carriers and delivery window slots.
If the QR code label option is switched on it means that this order will have QR labels printed and scanned by Zoopit couriers upon pick-up and delivery.

3, Delivery window and restrictions

On the 3rd. and final step you select the desired pick-up time and add restrictions for this delivery (if necessary).

Window delivery

Select the pick-up/delivery date and time the order should be delivered.

If you get no «delivery slots available» (see picture below):

Make sure all the information given is correct, in particular weight, address (pick-up and delivery) and the type of goods. If you still are getting no slots available message, please, contact us hei@zoopit.no.

Delivery and age restrictions

Here you set the restrictions for your delivery. Does it require a customer to show a proof of identification? Is there an age limit to delivery your goods? Does it contain alcohol? Here is where you should set this remarks.

⚠️ Make sure you follow local rules for delivering restrict goods. You are responsible for telling Zoopit system which restrictions should apply for each order/delivery.

Finally click/tap "CREATE ORDER" button at the bottom of the page to save and create your order. If you have selected that this order will have QR code labels, you will have the opportunity to manage and print those labels after the order is created.
