Getting notifications from the Dashboard, preferences and settings.

In the Dashboard, we have different ways of displaying and receiving notifications. One way is when a user is using the Dashboard and the other β€” more advanced β€”, called "push notifications".

All notifications shown in the Dashboard looks like this:

They are located at the bottommost left side of the page.

Push notifications

These notifications are more advanced, they are also connected to the users operating system (OS). This means that whenever the device is ON it will get an OS notification linking to the Dashboard, regardless of using it or not. Because this gives web applications such as, the Zoopit Dashboard, the capability of "pushing" notifications to users at anytime, it requires direct permission from the user. Without your consent it is not possible to get any push notifications.

Status

You can check the permission status in the preferences page, the three different status are ALLOWED, DENIED and NO REQUEST TO GET NOTIFICATIONS, the later meaning you haven't been asked to allow. So make sure to click on the button "ASK FOR NOTIFICATION PERMISSION" and carefully follow the instructions on the screen.

The first preference is regarding the notifications shown inside the Dashboard.

Turn on/off anytime push notifications

Lets you choose which types of notifications to get. These types varies depending on each type of user.

Notifications history

On the notifications pages there's a historic list of all the latest notifications sent by Zoopit. Whenever the bell icon has a red dot over it, new notifications were sent to your Dashboard user.
