The courier must use the Zoopit Courier app to access delivery routes.
To give the courier access to the Zoopit Courier App, the courier must be created in the Zoopit Dashboard by users with access to couriers. Normally this is a dispatcher or the person responsible for customer deliveries.
There are 2 steps in this process.
Step 1
Log in to the Zoopit Dashboard and tap:
> MENU > COURIERS > REGISTER A NEW COURIER
After the courier has been registered, you can go to the next step to enter access and documents (such as non-disclosure agreements, completed courses/training, certifications etc.) Here you can also edit or change previous data that has been entered for courier.
Step 2.
Edit or add documentation etc.
Once the courier is registered, go back to > MENU > COURIERS
and click/tap arrow marked to the right on the courier you just have registered.
5. Accept tasks directly in the courier app
It is important that the access the courier has in the courier app corresponds to what has been agreed between the retailer, the carrier/courier and the courier. Therefore, be careful when setting the following accesses.
In order for the courier to be able to accept tasks directly in the courier app,
you must first select:
Which Retailer or pick-up location should this courier apply to.
Allow Pick-up all
Should the courier be able to pick up all orders without scanning the QR code by pressing "Allow pick-up all button/Hent alle" in the courier app. This function is often used if the QR code is not available, or if it is otherwise not appropriate to scan the words when collecting or delivering.
Accepting tasks/routes.
By activating the "Accepting tasks/accept routes" button, the courier will be able to see available routes and assign the route directly in the courier app if desired - or not. This can be practical if there are several couriers who are organized according to a duty list and it is the person on duty who will assign to route and carry out deliveries.
The alternative is that the courier only gets access to routes in the courier app “My routes” that has been assigned to the courier by Dispsatcher.
Route builder (on demand routes)
By activating "Route builder”, the courier will be able to “scan or search” for orders in the courier app and create a route based on the orders that have been scanned or downloaded. This function is often used in cases where there is uncertainty as to whether the order is actually ready and available for pick-up and delivery. Which means that the courier must be able to create a route "on the spot" based on the orders that are actually available.
Available routes
By activating "Available route/available" routes, the courier will be able to see all available routes according to the retailers or pick-up points the individual courier has access to in the courier app under "My routes".
